The Star Wars Battlefront beta isn't even open for all fans and already some clever participants have managed to uncover references to unconfirmed content in the test files. So far, all-new heroes like Princess Leia, Han Solo and even The Emperor are present, alongside modes or experiences called Hero Hunt and Hero Battle.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch this November and developer DICE, together with Electronic Arts, has revealed a series of different details about the first-person shooter, from its game modes to its features or its special mechanics, like the heroes that can be found via power-ups during a match.

Later today, at 10am PDT, Star Wars Battlefront's beta is going to open for all fans to enjoy. In recent days, however, certain users were invited to test out the game early.

Some of them have started rummaging through the trial's files on PC, and via Reddit, they share some very interesting finds, including new characters and game modes.

First up, as mentioned, three new heroes have voice lines, in the form of Princess Leia, Han Solo, and surprisingly enough, The Emperor.

Two special modes, or at least encounters, are also listed, in the form of Hero Hunt and Hero Battle. No word yet on what mechanics they might include, and so far neither DICE nor EA has actually talked about the leaked files.
