A brand new video has just appeared online depicting a direct comparison between the visuals of Star Wars Battlefront beta on the PC, running at Ultra settings, and on the PS4. You can check out side-by-side gameplay from the two platforms, as well as a few screenshots.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to make its debut across PC, PS4, and Xbox One in November. However, in order to ensure that the multiplayer infrastructure works as intended, a special open beta is set to roll out later today, October 8, across all regions.

The actual multiplayer trial went live earlier this week and some lucky fans were able to try it out ahead of the rest. One participant has just produced a special comparison video, pitting against one another the PC and PS4 beta versions.

The PC one runs at the Ultra graphics quality, and while you can clearly see the lack of depth of field or advanced anti-aliasing, the PS4 edition still looks pretty decent.

The side-by-side gameplay sequences don't really show a standout winner, although the screenshots certainly favor the PC edition.

Bear in mind that some improvements are still expected to be made to Battlefront ahead of its launch in November, so the visual quality might increase on both platforms depending on the tweaks developer DICE can produce.
