The team at Sony in charge of the European fortunes of the PlayStation brand is announcing an extensive four-week sale for interested gamers, which is designed to offer a wide variety of deals all through the month of July.

For the first week, the company is highlighting price cuts for classic adventure title Grim Fandango and the more recent and emotional Child of Light.

More discounts are offered for those who are paying for the PS Plus service and members also get access to a sale for movies.

The list of video games that are being offered with cuts includes:

- multiple platform: Urban Trial Freestyle (PS3, PS Vita), Zombie Tycoon (PS3, PS Vita, PSP), Child of Light (PS3, PS4), Tower of Guns (PS3, PS4), Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition (PS4, PS3, PS Vita), Retro City Rampage DX (PS4, PS3, PS Vita), Rogue Legacy (PS4, PS3, PS Vita), Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4, PS Vita);

Sony will announce new deals in one week, and it's unclear whether the company is also planning to deliver a similar sale for those in North America and other territories.

Recently Sony has revealed that there's no country in Europe where it has a presence, and the PlayStation 4 enjoys less than 70 percent market share.
