Rocket League developer Psyonix confirms that the new big patch for the game, in the form of update 1.05, is set to arrive across PC and PS4 platforms in two weeks or less. The studio also mentions a few important features coming alongside it, such as the ability to find a new match straight from the ranked endgame screen.

Rocket League launched worldwide earlier this summer across PC and PS4 and the game is now a classic, bringing together millions of users throughout the two platforms in intense multiplayer brawls using tiny cars and giant arenas.

The game has received a lot of support from Psyonix and now the studio confirms on Twitter that it's going to debut the next major patch, in the form of update 1.05, for Rocket League in about two weeks or even less, if everything goes smoothly.

A few important features have been confirmed by the team, including the long-awaited ability to instantly find a new match while on the endgame screen of a Ranked encounter.

The patch is also going to add a music player interface to the menu screens so that fans can cycle through the available songs. Last but not least, PC users will be able to filter out PS4 players from the matchmaking system.

Expect a concrete release date for the Rocket League update 1.05 in the following weeks.
