Video game developer Psyonix is announcing that it plans to launch a range of content linked to the coming Halloween holiday for Rocket League on October 18, offered for free to all those who own the title.

The content will come as post-game drops and the official PS Blog announcement adds, "Once you’ve found an item, it’s yours to keep forever, but if you don’t find the ones you want by November 2nd, you’ll have to wait until next year for a shot at them again."

The full list of new items coming to Rocket League includes Calavera antenna, Candy Corn rocket trail, Carriage wheels, Fuzzy Brute antenna, Fuzzy Vampire antenna and Pumpkin topper.

Before Halloween arrives, gamers can also get access to a piece of paid downloadable content for the game, named Revenge of the Battle-Cars, on October 13.

Rocket League is one of the big surprise hits of the fall, offered on both the PlayStation 4 and the PC, designed to allow gamers to jump into gravity-defying vehicles that engage in an innovative take on football mechanics.

Psyonix has been delivering new content for the game in order to make sure that gamers stay interested in the core mechanics and it seems that a mix of both paid and free DLC is on the menu for the rest of the year, at least.
