14 DAY TRIAL // Konami has started sharing its Gamescom 2015 announcements early, beginning with an August 13 release date for the PES 2016 demo, and continuing with a confirmation that Juventus Torino star Alvaro Morata will joins Neymar Jr. on the global cover of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016.
The PES series has been around for quite some time, and while it did manage to rival Electronic Arts' FIFA series for plenty of years, recent times haven't gone that well for the Konami franchise.
Even so, with this year's entry, the Japanese company wants to pull off a better showing, enhancing not just gameplay but also many other features.
After sharing plenty of different details in recent months, Konami now confirms, via PESfan, that the PES 2016 demo is going to launch across PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on August 13, worldwide. The free trial will be available until the game's actual launch on September 18.
Besides the confirmation of the demo version, the company also mentions that previously announced cover star Neymar Jr. is teaming up with Juventus Torino star Alvaro Morata to appear on the game's global box art, which you can admire above.
Expect to see a new gameplay video, as well as other details, surface later this week, during Gamescom 2015.
