Video game developer Blizzard is delivering a new trailer for its upcoming Overwatch, which is focused on the new character Lucio, showing off his main moves and the powerful Sonic Amplifier weapon that he is using.

The footage is taken unedited from a match that takes place on the PC and the player is on the attacking team on the Numbani map, which mixes payload and point capture and is set somewhere in a utopian city on the edge of the African savanna.

The action is shown in 1080p and at 60 frames per second.

Overwatch is an ambitious project that aims to mix cooperative multiplayer and first-person shooter elements, with gamers encouraged to mix and match abilities in order to take out enemies.

Two teams of six players will battle on a variety of maps and using multiple modes.

The development team says that it wants the mechanics to be as accessible as possible in order to attract a lot of players, but so far the studio has not talked about the business model, although most gamers are suspecting that free-to-play system will be used.

Overwatch will be available only on the PC and Blizzard has not yet talked about when it might be officially launched.
