Microsoft Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirms that the revised Xbox One user interface is still set to appear this September for all Xbox Live Preview members. The new UI is currently running on internal consoles at the corporation, so things are looking good.

Microsoft made plenty of big announcements concerning the future of the Xbox One at E3 2015 in June and at Gamescom 2015 earlier this month. Among the new features coming to the console is the revised user interface, which should make using the device much easier and more intuitive.

While the actual UI is set to appear later this fall for all owners of the console, those enrolled in the Xbox Live Preview program have been confirmed to receive it in September.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer assures us on Twitter that the plan is still accurate, so Xbox Live members who are part of the Preview program will still get the revamped interface next month.

The UI is currently running on Microsoft's internal test machines, according to Spencer, and once everything is tested, actual users will be able to enjoy the UI and share their impressions and issues, depending on the situation.

Expect more accurate release dates for the new Xbox One UI, for both Preview members and regular users, in the following weeks, as we get closer to its rollout.
