14 DAY TRIAL // The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a brand new gameplay video for its upcoming Hearts of Stone expansion later today, October 6, according to new statements from developer CD Projekt Red, as part of a special announcement.
The Witcher 3 launched across PC, PS4, and Xbox One back in May, and since then the Polish studio behind the sprawling role-playing game has released a myriad of updates and patches, not to mention plenty of different free add-ons that included new quests, gear, outfits, or features.
For the last period of time, however, the studio has been working hard on the first big expansion for The Witcher 3, in the form of Hearts of Stone.
The add-on is set to launch next week and already anticipation for it is reaching critical mass, thanks to great details, screenshots, and a video shared by CD Projekt Red.
Now, the studio's Community Manager, Marcin Momot, confirms on Twitter that a special announcement is coming later today, October 6.
He recently posted a teaser collage of images that seems to confirm that a trailer is set to debut, potentially for Hearts of Stone.
Not much else is known just yet, so expect to hear more in a few hours.
The Witcher 3 is set to receive not just the expansion next week but also patch 1.09, which includes plenty of enhancements for all owners of the RPG.
