14 DAY TRIAL // Star Wars Battlefront developer DICE confirms that it's going to present a brand new mode for the upcoming sci-fi shooter later today, July 30, worldwide. What's more, in the very near future, probably next week at Gamescom 2015, a new hero type will also be revealed.
Star Wars Battlefront is one of the most hyped-up titles scheduled to debut this fall, and developer DICE, together with publisher Electronic Arts, has already shared plenty of different details, gameplay videos, and screenshots in recent months.
Now, ahead of the start of Gamescom 2015, one of the biggest gaming events in the world, DICE confirms on its website that plenty of major reveals are going to take place.
First up, a brand new multiplayer mode is going to be presented to the world later today, July 30. As you can see in the screenshot above, it seems to focus on indoor action, instead of activities on the outside of planets, like the Walker Assault experience.
No other details have been given about the actual mode but Gamescom attendants will be able to test it out during next week's event.
Another big reveal will focus on a brand new hero type, although it's unclear just what it might be.
