Bethesda has just released the latest entry in its ongoing SPECIAL video series, this time highlighting the Intelligence aspect of the system and how investing skill points in it can help improve the odds of survival.

Fallout 4 is set to bring forth quite a few new mechanics on top of the franchise's core recipe, but one system that won't be reinvented is the SPECIAL one, which governs the creation of a character for players.

In order to familiarize newcomers with the mechanic, Bethesda has rolled out in recent weeks videos focusing on each of the different categories that make up the system.

This time around, the video released by Bethesda focuses on Intelligence, showcasing the ways investing points in the category can help players in their quest for survival in the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

As you can see in the animated footage below, having a high Intelligence rating can help you hack into computers, reach new zones, and better deal with robots. It can also help while crafting new guns, combining drugs and chemicals, or while attempting health-related activities.

Not much else is portrayed in the video by Bethesda so expect the next two trailers to appear in the following weeks, focusing on Agility and Luck.

Fallout 4 launches worldwide on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 10. Expect to see Bethesda release more and more videos about the title in order to get more and more people interested in it.
