Need for Speed developer Ghost Games confirms that it's now sending out invitations for the game's closed beta test stage on consoles. It also reminds fans that sharing footage, screenshots or impressions isn't allowed just yet.

The new Need for Speed title promises to reboot the current racing game series by going back to the most popular installments, such as NFS Underground, and delivering nighttime racing, an emphasis on tuning and customization, and much more.

Developer Ghost Games has shared plenty of different details about the game's mechanics, the depth of its customization systems, and even a few different videos.

Now, after opening registrations for a Need for Speed closed beta test on PS4 and Xbox One last month, the studio confirms on Twitter that it's handing out invitations to the trial stage.

Those who manifested their interest should check their emails and input the codes received into the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live online services in order to actually download the beta.

Ghost Games reminds participants that this is a closed test phase, meaning they aren't allowed to share screenshots, videos or even impressions with the general public.

However, as was the case of previous closed test stages for EA games like Star Wars Battlefront, there are going to be certain leaks surfacing in the upcoming days.

NFS arrives on PS4 and Xbox One this November and on PC in spring of 2016.
