Amazon has apparently leaked the actual release dates for Minecraft: Story Mode for both North America and Europe. The new game will get a season disc retail release when the first episode debuts on October 27 in the US, and October 30 in the rest of the world.

Minecraft: Story Mode is the next major project from independent studio Telltale Games, as this time around the developer is working alongside Mojang, the team behind the hugely popular Minecraft experience, to bring an adventure based on it to fans all around the world.

The first episode is set to appear this fall, and thanks to Amazon, it seems that a couple of actual release dates are available.

The large retailer lists on its US version that Minecraft: Story Mode has a retail version in the form of a story disc, which only includes episode 1 of the five-part series. The rest will be released as digital downloads over time.

The season disc's release supposedly coincides with the debut of the very first episode, on October 27 in North America, and October 30 in Europe and the rest of the world, according to the UK website.

Usually, Telltale releases its episodic games as digital downloads first, and after a few months, on retail discs. For Minecraft: Story Mode, it seems that it wants a simultaneous debut in both media delivery types.

Telltale and Mojang have yet to comment.
