The same mission can be tackled in new ways

Video game developer Kojima Studios and publisher Konami are offering a new demo for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, an alternate take on the mission that they showed during the E3 2015 event.

The half an hour long footage is designed to show gamers the variety the title can offer and how modified conditions in the game will allow the player to use another set of mechanics in order to reach their objectives.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will find little in the way of entirely new mechanics, but they will be able to take a look at the bionic arm in action while also seeking more gunplay, horse riding and sneaking around.

This is the first time that Hideo Kojima will offer a full open world structure for the series and players will also need to deal with a day and night cycle and with extensive weather effects.

Given the disagreements between the game creator and publisher Konami, this is probably the last title in the franchise that he will be working on.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be offered on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on September 1 and will also arrive two weeks later on the PC.
