14 DAY TRIAL // Nintendo has just released a brand new video with its legendary Designer Shigeru Miyamoto, in the form of Mario Myths, which sees the famous developer confirm or debunk certain famous and infamous things about the Mario franchise.
Nintendo's Mario series has been around for decades, and it's become quintessential for the Japanese developer, sparking all sorts of different spinoff series throughout the years.
The creator of the loveable character, Shigeru Miyamoto, has also been with the company for a very long time and he's currently overseeing all creative efforts from the Japanese corporation.
Now, in order to promote the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Mario franchise and the debut of Super Mario Maker, Nintendo has just put together a commemorative video named Mario Myths.
As the name suggests, the footage sees Miyamoto confirm and debunk several myths about the Mario series. From the origins of the plumber's name to the cover of the Super Mario Bros. package and to the capabilities of Dr. Mario, plenty of serious stories are discussed.
There are also quite a few tongue-in-cheek questions and myths, such as the identity of Bowser Jr.'s mother. I won't spoil the answers, so you have to check out the video below.
Super Mario Maker launches tomorrow, September 11, all around the world on the Wii U platform. You can expect lots more titles starring the Italian plumber in the following years.
