14 DAY TRIAL // Mad Max is not the most important title coming to home consoles and the PC this fall, but the team at Sony has worked with publisher Warner Bros. and developer Avalanche Studios to secure some exclusive content for the PlayStation 4.
Gamers who opt for that version of the open world title will be able to use 12 extra ornaments for the hood of their Magnum Opus, some of which are designed to appeal to fans of the movie with the same name that was launched earlier in the year.
The changes are only cosmetic and the involved companies are saying that the exclusive content for Mad Max will remain so until November 30 of this year, when those who play on other platforms will probably be able to get it as a separate piece of downloadable content.
The Avalanche-created video game is designed to allow players to explore the Wasteland in order to try and get all the parts required to construct a legendary vehicle that will replace the one that was stolen from him.
The studio says that a majority of the title will be spent driving around the world and engaging enemies who will also have their unique vehicle designs.
Gamers will also be able to liberate a variety of outposts in order to obtain unique parts.
Mad Max will be launched on September 1 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
