The PlayStation 4 is the best-placed home console

The 3DS handheld is once again at the top of the Japanese hardware sales chart, managing to move no less than 32,355 units in the country, which is a solid improvement over the 24,064 of the previous week.

The PlayStation Vita has also delivered 23,954 devices to its own fans, another solid boost when compared to the previously tracked period.

Third place for the week that ended on June 26, according to Media Create data quoted by NeoGAF, is occupied by the PlayStation 4 home console, with 14,482 devices moved to its fans, an increase over the previous seven-day period.

The Wii U has generated sales of 13,166, ahead of the PlayStation 3 at 2,761 and the Xbox One, which sits on 243.

When it comes to video games, the number one position is occupied by Fire Emblem Fate: Black Kingdom / White Kingdom, which Nintendo delivered for the 3DS, which generated sales of 260,675 copies during its first week.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the PlayStation Vita from Atlus is in second place, with sales of 94,036.

The rest of the top ten is made up of: Fire Emblem Fates: Black Kingdom / White Kingdom Special Edition, Rhythm Heaven: The Best+, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Splatoon, TV Anime Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls G4U!
