A brand new multiplayer gameplay video from Halo 5: Guardians has just been released by Microsoft and 343 Industries, alongside confirmation that a Halo World Championship eSports competition will be held soon. Last but not least, a 1TB Xbox One bundle is also coming in October.

Halo 5: Guardians is the next major entry in the first-person shooter series, and developer 343 Industries has released a wide array of new videos, screenshots, and details over the last few months.

After a short direct feed gameplay trailer surfaced earlier today, Microsoft has brought forth during its Xbox at Gamescom 2015 press event yet another multiplayer gameplay video with Halo 5: Guardians.

As you can see in the footage below, the online mode has been enhanced in all sorts of ways when compared to the multiplayer beta that took place at the beginning of the year on the Xbox One.

What's more, besides showcasing the multiplayer mode, together with its Arena and Warzone game types, 343 Industries also boasted the eSports nature of Halo 5: Guardians.

In order to get professional teams and fans excited about Halo as an eSport, Microsoft and 343 have also confirmed a special Halo World Championship with $1 million (around €900,000) in prize money.
