14 DAY TRIAL // Rockstar Games confirms that it's celebrating the US Independence Day in Grand Theft Auto 5's GTA Online multiplayer mode with double GTA$ and RP gain, not to mention a discount on themed items, vehicles, and more.
GTA 5 is set to receive its next big content patch for the GTA Online mode next week, on July 8, in the form of the Ill-Gotten Gains update part 2.
However, until then, Rockstar has prepared a special celebration inside the multiplayer mode in honor of Independent Day, according to the official website.
As such, starting today, July 1, until July 6, GTA 5 players will be able to earn twice the amount of GTA$ and RP when playing in the GTA Online multiplayer. Special patriotic jobs are available in a special event playlist as well.
Besides earning virtual money and points, GTA Online users will also be able to score a 25% discount on themed vehicles like the Liberator monster truck or the Sovereign motorcycle, not to mention on guns like the Firework Rocket Launcher, as well as hats, T-shirts, or masks.
The celebrations are already underway across all platforms, i.e. PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, so jump in and celebrate freedom.
