14 DAY TRIAL // Rockstar Games confirms that, in honor of the Grand Theft Auto 5 Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update, it's now running a special weekend event inside the GTA Online multiplayer mode. Participants can earn bonus GTA$ and RP, while participating in contests.
GTA 5 has been around for quite some time, but thanks to the constant content updates from developer Rockstar, the community has always been quite active in the GTA Online multiplayer mode.
The latest major patch arrived earlier this week, in the form of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update, which brought forth more fresh vehicles, items, and weapons for players to spend their virtual money on.
As always, in order to hype up the patch, a special weekend event is now available, ending tomorrow, July 12, according to the official website.
During this time, all races inside GTA Online will give out double the amount of GTA$, while double the amount of RP is available for deathmatches, betting stakes, as well as activities like golf and tennis.
What's more, players can respray their cars in gold metal paint for free during the weekend, while deliveries made by Pegasus for luxury vehicles are also free of charge.
Those with talent can enter two contests, one for the Rockstar Editor, and the other for the Snapmatic app.
