Large online game company Nexon confirms that it's partnered with Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment to release Titanfall Online, a free-to-play version of the multiplayer experience released by the two teams last year across PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Titanfall was eagerly awaited by millions of shooter fans from all over the world, and the title lived up to the hype by bringing a fluid experience that was fast-paced but still easy to get into. Since then, the game's popularity has dwindled, but there are still plenty of people enjoying the multiplayer-only title.

Now, after receiving confirmation that Titanfall 2 is coming, it seems that fans in Asia can look forward to their own version of the experience, as Nexon is going to bring a Titanfall Online free-to-play shooter to that region of the world, via IGN.

There aren't a lot of details available, although Nexon pledges to work closely with Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment in order to respect the original and the franchise overall.

Expect to hear much more about this novel project in the following months or probably in 2016.

The actual Titanfall 2 is projected to appear probably in late 2016 or in 2017, depending on how many new things Respawn wants to add to its already successful recipe.
