Electronic Arts' EA Access service might be enhanced in the future with other free titles in the form of older Xbox 360 games, which are playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility this fall.

Electronic Arts surprised quite a lot of people last year when it rolled out the EA Access program, which allowed Xbox One users to subscribe and get unlimited access to all sorts of different games published by the company for the console.

After adding all sorts of highly coveted titles, such as Titanfall or Dragon Age: Inquisition in the last few months, EA might add older Xbox 360 titles to the service's portfolio.

According to a reply given to a fan on Twitter, the EA Access representative says that it's examining options to offer backwards compatible EA titles in the future.

However, it emphasizes that the plan isn't set in stone, so it's unclear if Xbox One users with valid EA Access subscriptions might be able to play older Xbox 360 titles for free on their recent console.

The actual backwards compatibility mechanic was confirmed to launch on the Xbox One in November. At the same time, console users will also get the Windows 10 update and the refined interface.
