The development team at BioWare has just launched a new major single-player downloadable content package for Dragon Age: Inquisition, called The Descent, and a new video has some of the members of the studio offering more details about the design of the new adventure.

The DLC is asking gamers to go into the Deep Roads in order to solve the mystery of earthquakes that are threatening all of Thedas, and given the location, it's clear that the main force they will have to face is made up of Darkspawn.

Some of the statements made by BioWare developers seem to suggest that there are more stories linked to the Deep Roads that the team might tell in the future.

Dragon Age: Inquisition was launched late in 2014 and has managed to be both a commercial and a critical success for Electronic Arts.

BioWare has said that it has long-term plans to offer more content for the action role-playing game, but it's unclear how much of it will be linked to story elements and how much will be focused on multiplayer.

The ending of Dragon Age: Inquisition made it pretty clear that a full sequel is a at least in the planning stages, but BioWare will for the moment focus more on a new Mass Effect title, the already announced Andromeda.
