Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is getting ready for the multiplayer beta phase and the development team at Treyarch clearly wants to make sure that the gamers who take part in it will be able to get the most out of the experience.

A new video that stars David Vonderhaar and Dan Bunting explains how momentum will become the most important element of movement in the shooter, with gamers able to use a variety of approaches when it comes to taking out an enemy.

The beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will include three maps, each of them designed to show a new set of environments and designs.

Gamers will also be able to experience a variety of modes and the new Specialist set of mechanics.

Treyarch and Activision are planning to carefully monitor the beta stage in order to tweak some of the mechanics ahead of the full launch.

The testing period will start on the PlayStation 4 on August 19, and gamers will be able to also play the game on the Xbox One and on the PC on August 26.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be offered on November 6 and gamers can play it on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4, with older consoles getting a version of the shooter that has limited features.
