Activision and Treyarch confirm that, at Gamescome 2015 next week, they'll present the eSports features of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, as part of a special reveal and a live stream from the major event.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is this year's major entry in the first-person shooter series, and Treyarch hopes to continue its solid stream of releases by adding even more features and mechanics.

Seeing as how Black Ops 2 raised the bar for Call of Duty as an eSport, the studio confirms that it will showcase the competitive features of Black Ops 3 next week, at Gamescom 2015.

On August 5, a special live broadcast from the large event in Cologne, Germany, will take place, in which Treyarch's developers will showcase the new and improved eSports tools in Black Ops 3.

The presentation kicks off at 7pm CEST (10am PST/1pm EST), so make sure you tune in to see not only the actual gameplay details but also a few demonstrations of competitive matches between professional Call of Duty players, according to the official blog.

Black Ops 3 launches on November 6 across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 all around the world. You can expect to hear more details as we get closer to its fall debut.
