14 DAY TRIAL // Sledgehammer Games is celebrating its own special sixth anniversary with Hammer Week and, as a token of appreciation, it's doubling the drop rate for Legendary gear via Supply Drops in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare across all platforms until tomorrow, July 28.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare took quite a few liberties with the core recipe of the first-person shooter series, and developer Sledgehammer Games got a cult following thanks to the many interesting tweaks it made with its futuristic title.
After releasing all sorts of updates, patches, DLC, or map packs, the studio has just kicked off a double drop rate for legendary gear in Advanced Warfare. As such, players who open regular or Advanced Supply Drops have better odds at scoring legendary gear for their virtual characters to enjoy.
The bonus is in honor of the studio's sixth anniversary and Sledgehammer confirms that there will be many other rewards and surprises released this week for Advanced Warfare fans.
It's now available across all platforms, i.e. PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, worldwide, until tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28, at 9am PST. As such, take advantage of it sooner rather than later if you want better odds at getting custom gear.
