Video game developer Visceral Games has not offered any official information about the next downloadable content for Battlefield Hardline, called Robbery, but it seems that the company is planning to introduce at least a new multiplayer mode that will satisfy the community.

Thad Sasser, the leading multiplayer designer working on the game, has teased the community in a Twitter message, saying that Gamescom will be the place where the new experience will be revealed.

The coming game mode is apparently "sweet," although it's unclear what that means in terms of gameplay.

Battlefield Hardline currently has seven multiplayer modes, and the new one might be based on a classic of the series or might be built from the ground up by Visceral Games.

The Robbery DLC is set to be launched before the end of the year and will also include new maps and more weapons for the community to use.

Hardline will also get a third piece of content in the fall, called Getaway, whereas Betrayal is set to be offered on all platforms in early 2016.

The original launch date of the shooter was delayed, but since it was introduced in the spring of this year, it has managed to perform well for Electronic Arts.
