The development team at Eugen Systems and publisher Focus Home Interactive are delivering another trailer for their upcoming Act of Aggression, which focuses on the super-weapons that the three factions can deploy in order to wipe each other out.
The two companies are aiming to deliver a balanced take on the nuclear exchange mechanics, which means that gamers can use them both offensively and defensively, and there's also a special unit that can neutralize them.
Eugen Systems states, "The US dominate with the Peacekeeper missile silo holding the LGM-118, and defend with the MIM-104 Patriot launcher, unlockable under DEFCON 1. The Omega Blitzer is the weapon of choice for the Chimera, a multi-shot long-range rail-gun with a wide spread. Uniquely, their defense is mobile under the name of the Antey, a mobile anti-tactical weapon."
The nuclear options for the Cartel faction will be revealed this week during Gamescom.
Act of Aggression aims to offer a relatively classic take on the real-time strategy genre but with a range of improvements designed to appeal to modern gamers.
Each of the factions has a unique philosophy and line-up of units that players can use during engagements.
Act of Aggression will be launched on the PC on September 2 and gamers can now place a pre-order.
