14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher and developer SEGA has released the launch trailer for Yakuza: Dead Souls, the latest video game from the celebrated Yakuza team, showing well-known characters and newcomers fighting a zombie invasion that threatens their bellowed Tokyo.
The game is launched only on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and arrives today in North America and three days later in Europe.
Yakuza: Dead Souls takes place across the Kamurocho district of Tokyo and features as playable characters Kazuma Kiryu, the hero of the franchise, and Shun Akiyama, Ryuji Goda and Goro Majima.
The game introduces gunplay to the Yakuza series, allowing the characters to use pistols, rocket launchers and machine guns to take down the zombie menace in addition to the regular arsenal of kicks, punches and thrown objects.
Yakuza: Dead Souls keeps the celebrated style of the series while introducing a new set of mechanics that makes the entire experience feel new.
