Developer Spark Unlimited and publisher Tecmo Koei are confirming that they are launching the upcoming Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z on the PlayStation 3 home console from Sony and on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

When it was first announced, the video game was only set to arrive on consoles and many speculated that the experience would be delivered on the upcoming hardware platforms from the two companies.

The official announcement comes from the official website of the developer, which specifically talks about Yaiba as “a bold new take on 3rd Person slasher with Horror elements for the PS3 and Xbox 360.”

Keiji Inafune is the main game creator behind Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z and the title will use the third-person perspective.

Ryu Hayabusa, the normal protagonist of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, will not become the main villain of the story.
