Tecmo Koei announces that Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, the cel-shaded Ninja Gaiden spinoff from Team Ninja will be available for PS3, Xbox 360 as well as PC.

Gamers will be able to try the game's PC version via Steam on the same day as the release of the console versions, in early 2014.

The project's goal is to bring fans a new trilling experience. Under the guidance of Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi and Comcept's Keiji Inafune, the game has few similarities with the previous one.

Here, enemies are mostly variations of the undead such as run-off-the-mill zombies, two headed toddlers and even huge mutant creatures.

From the graphic point of view, Ninja Gaiden Z stands out from the typical plastic action figure look of the series. It offers a thicky cel-shaded style, allowing the game to have a certain personality.

For more details, gamers can check out the impact the demo made at the Tokyo Game Show 2013.
