Xbox One's brand new Reddit app, dubbed ReddX, includes a set of zany achievements, starring none other than Microsoft's Xbox Community Manager Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb.

While it is commonplace for Xbox Apps to include achievements, most of them are accompanied by tame, or even dull images, or feature concept art.

With Reddx, the company is going full Steam ahead, as the app's achievements come with a series of photographs that display Major Nelson cosplaying as various popular Internet memes, such as Good Guy Greg or Upvote Obama.

The full set of achievement photographs has, of course, been posted on Reddit for all the world to enjoy.

Major Nelson' showing up in the photos is not merely a PR stunt, as Larry Hryb is an active member of the Xbox One subreddit, where he often interacts with fans of Microsoft's console and responds to various queries.

The Xbox One Reddit app is currently only available in North America, and it's bound to land in the rest of the world soon.

"Unfortunately, our ad provider only serves ads in these countries at this time. We would very much love to bring ReddX worldwide, and are exploring options to do so while still being able to pay the bills and keep the lights on," the official app FAQ reads.
