Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's Xbox division, has promised that a couple of highly requested features are on their way to the Xbox One computer entertainment system.

Microsoft has been doing a pretty good job so far, at least when it comes to supporting its latest home console with firmware updates, with many considering its post-launch support superior to Sony's.

The company has added new features to the console month after month, and its commitment to improving its fans' overall experience will continue for the foreseeable future.

Now, Phil Spencer has assured customers once again that some of the more stringent requests will be heeded, and the Xbox One will get support for taking screenshots, and gamers will be able to customize their dashboards with various themes.

Spencer has revealed the news during an interview with Inner Circle, but unfortunately, he has failed to specify any prospective timeframe for when the features would be enabled.

"Themes and background pics are something we are working on, and screenshots; I know people beat me up on screenshots ... I know people like to customize the look of the dash .. we are going to deliver on them," Spencer has disclosed.
