Microsoft has apparently confirmed through a leaked document that the Xbox Live friends list limit will be raised to 1,000 entries, and that the list will be stored in the cloud, meaning it can be accessed both on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 by signing into the profile.

The upcoming launch of the Xbox One next-gen platform introduces many improvements to the Xbox Live online services, including a higher friends list limit.

While at first it was rumored that the list was unlimited, a leaked Xbox One PR document found on Pastebin, via Superannuation, mentions that the list now has a limit of 1,000 friends.

The list will also be saved onto the Xbox Live cloud, meaning it can be viewed both on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 by simply signing into the gamer profile.
