Microsoft confirms that it's currently rolling out in stores worldwide a brand-new Xbox One bundle that offers the console as well as a free digital copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for just 349 USD/EUR.
The Xbox One launched back in November of last year in quite a few countries worldwide, but its steep 499 USD/EUR price tag meant that it didn't stand a solid chance against the lower-priced PS4, which retailed for just 399 USD/EUR.
In summer of last year, the console removed the Kinect sensor from its bundle and dropped the price to 399 USD/EUR. Things picked up Steam, and in November, an aggressive holiday bundled that added free games and lowered the bundle cost to 349 USD/EUR was introduced.
It proved a stellar move and Microsoft implemented the 349 USD/EUR price permanently when 2014 ended.
Now, a new bundle has just been revealed by Microsoft's Larry Hryb on his blog, in the form of the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection package. The deal includes the actual console and a digital copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for just 349 USD/EUR.
The bundle is rolling out worldwide and should appear in stores soon enough.
