Microsoft has confirmed that it's currently trying to solve an array of issues that are plaguing its Xbox Live online service today, April 14, including errors relating to the sign in and sign up process, as well as to the chat system and friend requests.

Lots of Xbox 360 owners have begun complaining of different issues yesterday, April 13, and now Microsoft has issued an official statement on the Xbox Live Support page, confirming that it's aware of errors affecting the chat and notification systems.

"Dear Xbox friends, we know that it’s a struggle right now to send and receive messages, see friends’ statuses, send and receive game and party invites, and accept friend requests on Xbox Live. We want you to know that we’re diligently working on getting everything back on the up and up. You’re being so patient with us, and we really appreciate that," the company said.

As of yet, however, no other updates have been posted on the situation and users are continuing to complain about such errors.
