4J Studios, the company that is handling the Xbox 360 port of Minecraft, and Mojang, the original developers of the indie hit, are aware of the problems that have been introduced on the Microsoft home consoles by Update 7 and are working to fix them as soon as possible.

The official Twitter message from 4J Studios states: “We've been working on bug fixes for some problems people have found in TU7. A new update with fixes will be released in January.”

The company says that the new update “is going to change the code to ensure you get a Nether Fortress, Blazes and Nether Wart in the Nether in a new world.”

The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has been more successful than initially expected and the development team behind the game is trying to squash problems as quickly as possible in order to keep player interest up.
