Video game developer Wargaming.net has announced that it is adding fantasy-themed dragons to its flight combat MMO World of Warplanes and has released a trailer showing how the winged creatures will appear in the World War II styled title.

The dragon faction in World of Warplanes will be similar to the human ones and will initially have 12 types of dragons at their disposal, with the line-up set to eventually increase to more than 60.

Each dragon will have characteristics like: fire intensity level, color, number of claws, horns, wingspan and skin thickness, which can be developed as the gamer gets more experience with each creature.

Victor Kislyi, who is the chief executive officer at Wargamin.net, has stated, “Adding dragons into World of Warplanes has been one of the most challenging aspects of game development so far. Dragons are so different from planes; they are much more edgy and self-willed, but if you put in just a little more effort, they will serve you well. I'm happy we've finally announced them!”
