Henry Cavill, the man who is playing Superman in the new Man of Steel movie, says that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of his favorite single-player games and that he was ready to miss his audition because of the MMO World of Warcraft.

IGN quotes him as saying that, “I saw it was him but the thing is, you can’t save World of Warcraft, you can’t pause it. It’s live.”

It’s unclear whether Cavill was able to keep up his World of Warcraft habit during the filming process for Man of Steel.

Traditionally, actors tend to be unwilling to disclose gaming habits, afraid that they might affect their star rating.

The industry has gained more respect in Hollywood, as shown by the fact that Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe are working on Beyond: Two Souls with Quantic Dream.
