New challenges will arrive weekly until June 22

The development team at Blizzard has thought up another way to keep the fan community for World of Warcraft engaged with the MMO and it involves asking them to try and take a selfie in the game and then post it to be evaluated by the community.

Those interested need to try and copy the situation shown in as much detail as possible, which in itself can be amusing, and then deliver it to the official site of the promotion.

Apparently, the selfie challenge will change every week and the development team is offering a series of prizes, ranging from special gear to a pair of tickets that include accommodation and access badges to the BlizzCon 2015 event.

The World of Warcraft selfie competition will run until June 22.

BlizzCon 2015 will take place on November 6 and 7 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and the company has announced that it will hold a variety of competitions there, as well as panels linked to its biggest games.

World of Warcraft has recently lost about 3 million subscribers, but the developers are saying that the addition of new features and presumably more initiatives like the selfie competition will bring them back in time.
