Blizzard has revealed that everyone will be able to play its massively multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft, free of charge until September 26.

The game's next expansion, Warlords of Draenor, drops on November 13, and the hype machine is starting to gear up. Blizzard's creation is starting to get more and more attention, and the developers have already mentioned that they're working on the next expansion, and have enough ideas to last them ten more.

World of Warcraft is celebrating its 10th anniversary in November, and the signs of old age are starting to show. Blizzard has announced that this year, the game's revenue has registered a pretty big hit, going down 35 percent year over year, and with the subscriber base ever shrinking, now tallied at 7.6 million users.

One of the reasons behind the dip in popularity is the fact that nothing new has come out in a while, and the company intends to change that with Warlords of Draenor, a massive expansion that will shake up many of the game's core systems.

Blizzard says that over 1 million players have pre-ordered the expansion since it was initially announced, and now the company is offering newcomers a chance to try the game out for almost a full month, for free, hoping to get more people interested.

The starter pack provides access to up to 20 levels completely free of charge, allowing you to make up your mind regarding what the game has to offer with a click of a button.
