All the money from the sale will be redirected to the Red Cross

World of Warcraft developer Blizzard says that it will introduce a new Cinder Kitten pet for its MMO in order to support the relief effort that the Red Cross has launched in the aftermath of the Sandy storm, which hit the Eastern seaboard of the United States.

The company has not said exactly when the new Cinder Kitten will be introduced in the game, but the fact that more news will be offered in the coming weeks means that it will take some time before gamers can give their money to the Red Cross via World of Warcraft.

Blizzard says, “Your support will enable the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support, and other assistance to survivors of disasters like Superstorm Sandy with 100% of the $10 USD adoption fee during this charity drive going toward this worthy cause.”

The effort would have probably been more effective if a pet had already been offered in World of Warcraft.
