Wargaming has confirmed that the beta stage for the World of Tanks Xbox 360 version is now underway, as the test phase will be live during two major periods this weekend.

World of Tanks is one of the most popular free-to-play online games out there, managing to win over tens of millions of players from around the world on the PC.

Now, developer Wargaming is preparing to debut the title on the Xbox 360, in the form of a dedicated version that launches later this summer.

Until then, the studio is organizing a beta stage, for which registration opened up earlier this month.

This weekend, the first test periods are going to take place. These will be held for six hours on Saturday, June 29, from 3pm PST, and on Sunday, June 30, from 3pm PST.

More test periods are planned according to Wargaming, so fans who registered for the beta shouldn't worry about missing out.
