Bethesda and MachineGames have just posted a brand new video with Wolfenstein: The New Order, showing off some fresh gameplay footage from the new shooter and detailing its alternate history.

Wolfenstein: The New Order takes place in a parallel universe where the Nazis won World War II and have progressed technologically to new heights.

The game will once again put players in the shoes of B.J. Blazkowicz as he must stop the Nazis from cementing their grasp on the world.

In order to detail the game's alternate universe and to showcase a bit more gameplay footage, Bethesda and MachineGames have just posted a fresh video right before the start of E3 2013 next week.

In the footage above, you can see the results of the Nazi occupation, as everything, from pop culture to the moon landing, has been twisted by the regime.

At the end, there are even some impressive gameplay sequences, although they're not that numerous and only show brief portions of the game.
