The development team at Machine Games and publisher Bethesda are continuing to deliver videos associated with this year’s Wolfenstein: The New Order, with the most recent installment allowing gamers to take a look at the famous train scene with commentary offered by narrative designer Tommy Tordsson Bjork.

The sequence where the player meets both Frau Engel and Bubi in a night train is an interesting one because it shows how the shooter can also introduce some quiet and tension-filled moments that drive the narrative forward.

Wolfenstein: The New Order can be played on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, as well as on last-gen consoles.

It’s nice to see a development team continue to talk about its games close to six months after it was first launched, especially given that it is not advertising new content and simply allowing players to get a deeper understanding of the experience.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a reboot for the franchise and was well received by fans and reviewers, who have appreciated its gunplay and its narrative development.

Neither Machine Games nor Bethesda have said whether they have any plans to create a sequel in the future or if the studio is currently focused on another project for next-gen consoles.
