Stephan Frost, the leading game design producer at Carbine Studios, says that their upcoming MMO WildStar aims to capture at least some of the audience that World of Warcraft has lost early during 2013.

The developer tells MCV that, "We’re coming out at a time when WoW is losing subscribers and we can fill the void for people who want an MMO that’s deep, hardcore but also accessible to people."

The Blizzard MMO has lost more than 1 million subscribers according to information from the company itself, despite the fact that more content has been delivered during the last few months.

Frost believes that beta periods have shown WildStar players a number of improvements over the traditional MMO experience.

NCsoft will launch the MMO later in the year on the PC.
