Video game publisher Ubisoft says that it expects the overall attach rate for the recently launched Nintendo Wii U to increase in the coming year as more high-profile titles are launched for the console.

Yves Guillemot, who is the chief executive officer at the French company, tells investors, quoted by NintendoLife, that, “Regarding Wii U, while we are satisfied by our market share in the US and Europe – at respectively 20% and 27% – our performance was impacted by low-tie ratios. Nintendo has recently announced the coming release of some of their great brands on Wii U, and we believe it will boost its potential.”

At first, Nintendo wanted to move more than 5.5 million Wii U units before March 31, but it has recently reduced the estimate to reflect smaller than expected sales.

Ubisoft has published ZombiU, one of the best launch titles for the new device.
