Titanfall is already one of the most expected games of 2014, after it managed to take home most of the awards during E3 2013 in June and the development team at Respawn Entertainment seems determined to continue its marketing blitz at Gamescom.

At the Electronic Arts press conference in Cologne, Germany, the studio offered a new gameplay demo, which was played live on actual Xbox One consoles.

The video shows gamers battling both on foot and using the giant mechs of the game on one of the most interesting maps in Titanfall.

The footage allows players to see both the actual shooter mechanics and the way various story elements will influence the flow of the game, building up the action towards a final epic battle.

Titanfall will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the 360 in the first half of 2014.
