Polish developer CD Projekt RED hosted a livestream on Twitch last night, showing off a good chunk of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay and answering some of the gaming community's questions regarding the upcoming title.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sets out to deliver the conclusion to the thrilling storyline of Geralt of Rivia, a powerful monster hunter whose mission is to rid the world of evil in all its forms.

The third installment in his saga is following a more personal journey where the white-haired adventurer will investigate some events from his past, while at the same time being confronted with an entirely new threat, in the form of an otherworldly army bent on destroying the world.

The livestream features a ton of gameplay, including new footage, it explains some of the game's basic systems, showcases the use of melee and ranged combat, and it ends with The Witcher 3's level designer, Miles Tost, answering a ton of questions from Twitch comments and the GOG.com forums.

The community is pretty enthusiastic about the upcoming role-playing game, and by the looks of it, there are plenty of reasons to get hyped up for.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to come out on May 19, headed to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
