Sony Computer Entertainment has just released a brand new TV commercial for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886.

If you want to gaze upon the beautiful pixels that developer Ready at Dawn crafted, you can have a look below. The game oozes atmosphere and is designed to provide a deeply cinematic experience, laden with action sequences and with QTE cutcenes.

A lot of people are criticizing the game, saying that it lacks proper gameplay and aims to bank on visuals and atmosphere alone, and that it will most likely flop when people finally get their hands on it.

In any case, the commercial looks gorgeous and even manages to slip in some new footage in its 30 seconds running time.

The game takes place in Victorian London, following an ancient order of knights doing their best to protect mankind from half-breeds, beastly fiends of superhuman strength that have threatened the existence of man for centuries.

Aided by newfound technology created by Edison and Tesla, as well as the newly discovered Blackwater, a mysterious substance which imbues users with incredible vitality, the knights finally stand a chance of fighting back against the menace and ending it once and for all.

Whoever the victor might be, we’ll know for sure on February 20, when the game ships worldwide, exclusively for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system from Sony.
